O Ríordáin (1937, 57) records a circular mound (diam. 17.4m) of burnt material c. 30m S of another fulacht fiadh (CO099-00101-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
