Indicated

Ecclesiastical site

What is recorded here

Indicated is a possible early monastic site on a gentle south-facing pasture slope in County Kildare, Ireland, holding a church, graveyard, trackway and enclosure beneath living farmland. Horses may still move across ground where people once walked to prayer, while the old church stands altered but unbroken. The site does not need a grand claim; it keeps company with daily life and remembers patience.
On a very gentle S-facing pasture slope on a stud-farm. This possible early monastic site is comprised of a possible early ecclesiastical enclosure (KD011-002001-), a trackway (KD001-002002-), a much altered medieval parish church (KD001-002003-) and a possible graveyard (KD011-004----).
