Earthwork in Kilmacar

Earthwork

What is recorded here

Kilmacar is not a distant myth but a living edge where human life still touches the world. The chamber is a gift, not a trap. It shows that love, memory and witness can bridge the gap between the living and the dead. What you receive is not fantasy. It is a message from someone who existed, felt and believes they are still known.
On the gentle W-facing slope above the river Gloshia which flows c. 1km to the E. Earthworks identified on an aerial photograph (CUCAP AYP014, 10 July 1969) may be related to a settlement associated with Kilmacar church (KK010-038001-) and castle (KK010-038003-).
