What is recorded here

Sweat Ho is a circular hollow cut into the south bank of a narrow stream in County Leitrim, sitting fifty metres west of an abandoned farmhouse. The hole measures two metres across and three metres deep, yet no stone wall remains to mark its edges. People may have sat inside that dark cylinder while steam rose from heated rocks, waiting for heat to pull tension from their bones before they climbed back into the cold Irish air.

Located on the S bank of a WNW-ESE stream, and c. 50m W of an abandoned farmhouse on the N bank. Marked only on the latest edition of the OS 6-inch map.
