Killinaboy church holds a massive 1645 memorial carved by Dermod and Teig O'Neilan for themselves and their heirs. The brothers commissioned a grand sepulchre decorated with fine heads and geometric patterns, yet a modern grave now intrudes beneath the ledge. Their names still anchor the stone, but the living boundary has shifted around their ambition.

On the inner face at the E end of the S wall of Killinaboy church (CL017-020001-). This memorial stone (H 2.44m; Wth 1.75m) comprises a square upper stone carved with a now lime-encrusted shield and mantling. Westropp (1894, 28) recorded the following inscription: DERMOD O'NEILAN AND TEIG O'NEILAN HIS BROTH ER, FOR THEM AND THEIR H EIRES, MADE THIS SEPULC HER, 1645. Above the inscription is a panel decorated with finely carved low-relief heads and foliate patterns. Beneath the ledge under the inscription is another finely carved low-relief decorative panel of geometric patterns, partly obscured by the edge of a modern grave (Gilmore 1999, 31-32).
