Killhill encloses a circular space forty metres across, marked only by shadow and soil memory on its eastern slope. The hillfort has stood since before written history, yet this inner chamber remains hidden beneath pasture and rain. A person may have lived there, loved there, or forgotten the way out entirely. The land keeps its secrets patient, waiting for someone stubborn enough to listen.
On an E-facing pasture slope in the E sector of a hillfort (KD020-001----). Visible on a 2005 aerial photograph (OSi Orthophoto) as the crop mark of two possible concentric fosses enclosing a circular area (est. max diam. c. 40m).
