What is recorded here
Sited on the summit of a rocky and scrub-covered hill of rough pasture, with good views of the surrounding landscape. Ringfort (WM024-099----) 30m to NW. In centre of ringfort (WM024-100----) are the remains of a complex of a house site with three other possible structures. A large central rectangular hut site represented by a substantial earth and stone bank is located in the centre of the interior. A gap in the W end probably represents the doorway. Other gaps at the NW and NE corners appear to be due to disturbance. There are also the poorly preserved remains of two other possible hut sites adjoining the ringfort bank at N and E. An additional wedge-shaped earthwork defined by an earthen bank adjoins the ringfort bank at SW and may represent the remains of a hut site.
