What is recorded here

Killallaghtan holds a subcircular enclosure seventy metres from the graveyard, its raised platform measuring nineteen by seventeen metres. A bank defines the eastern edge while a shallow fosse circles the outside, marking a boundary older than the graves nearby. The shape suggests people once gathered there before death claimed the land, turning ordinary soil into a stage for memory.

Circa 70m to the SE of the SE corner of the graveyard (GA099-114002-). A raised subcircular platform (19m E-W; 17m N-S) is defined by a bank from NE to SE and elsewhere by a scarp. A shallow narrow external fosse is visible all round. Compiled by: Olive Alcock Date of upload: 6 December 2016
