Killagh More in County Galway holds a ringfort, its earthworks still shaping the landscape though human hands stopped tending them centuries ago. The name Fairy fort suggests local people once believed the site belonged to something else, a boundary between the ordinary and the unseen. Whatever it housed, the circle remains, a quiet claim on the land that resists forgetting.
