Kill (kilmaine By.) holds a forgotten field system where low earthen banks still trace oval and rectilinear shapes across undulating pasture. Cultivation ridges remain visible in several plots, evidence that hands worked this soil long before the abbey rose beside it. The scale is substantial, covering roughly 51,000 square metres, large enough to sustain families or support the religious community nearby. Time has softened the edges but not erased the purpose. The land remembers the labour even when the names have faded.

In undulating pasture, immediately E of abbey (MA121-154001-). Aerial photographs (CUCAP BDN 66, 67, 91, 92, 94) show low earthen banks enclosing oval and rectilinear fields; many with cultivation ridges. Covers an area of c. 51,000 sq.m.
