Graveslab in Kill marks one buried life in County Cavan, yet the chamber of proof still withholds its shape. That absence does not diminish the dead person; it returns the place to mystery. A nameless body, a forgotten field, a stone or wooden cross now gone: any of these could have held the grief that made the marker necessary.
