What is recorded here

Mnemo and Eochu arrived at the RIC Barracks on Easter Saturday 1920 to find a roofless shell where the constables had kept their watches. They had carried oil through the village streets while ordinary people looked away or helped carry the cans, turning a small town into a single flame. The building stood on lands belonging to Lord Bessborough, but that night it answered to no master except the women and man who destroyed it.
RIC Barracks is recorded as a memorial in County Kilkenny. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
