Ballymaglancy Cave is a seven-hundred-metre limestone tunnel where water still carves the dark, and lesser horseshoe bats hang in the ceiling like living shadows. The name belongs to the Clancy family, whose townland sits beside Pollwalter, a small pool that may have marked the entrance when people first walked past. The cave is not a showroom; it is a protected home for creatures that need silence, and the law now treats that silence as a boundary. To visit is to enter someone else's address, not to own the dark.
