What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Kilcanoran, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a low rise in a low-lying landscape as a subcircular grass-covered area measuring 23m east-west and 20m north-south. An earthen bank and scarp define the perimeter, while an outer fosse appears at the northeast and southwest. A church stands approximately 120m to the southwest, and no visible entrance remains.

On a low rise in a low-lying landscape. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 23m E-W; 20m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-3.7m; int. H 0.3m generally to 0.6m at SW; ext. H 1-1.1m) NE-S-W and a scarp (H 0.9m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.7m at SE to 3.5m at SW; D 0.2-0.3m) at NE and SW. There is no visible entrance.
