A circular area (max. diam. c. 46m) defined by a bank (Wth c. 2.4m, H c. 1.5m) and slight evidence of an external fosse. No visible remains of original entrance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
