In level pasture, on demesne of and c. 500m to NNE of Gibbings Grove House (14914). Circular area (21m N-S; 20.7m E-W) enclosed by low earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.1m) with external fosse (D 0.15m). Slight rise visible in centre of interior. Locally known as a tree ring. Second small circular enclosure (13618) in next field c. 260m to S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
