Coolnacrough Fort

In level rough grazing land. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.2m) with external fosse (D 0.5m). Bank heavily overgrown; interior planted with coniferous trees. Townland boundary follows line of bank to W and S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
