Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

In pasture, located on a rise, overlooking a shallow basin of wet ground to S. There is a farmyard c. 40m to SW. Broadly oval platform (30m N−S; 36m E−W) defined by a scarp (H 0.8m at NE, 1.5m at S, 2m at SW−W). The scarp is quite substantial, and is incorporated into a field fence at NW−N, where it retains a slightly raised lip on its inner edge. It is lowest on the NE arc. It partly concealed by overgrowth and heaps of field clearance debris. The interior is fairly level, with an uneven and strewn with stones. A quarry pit (Wth c. 8m E−W; L 18m N-S) extends from the scarp at N towards the centre of the interior to S; it is partly filled with field clearance debris.
