What is recorded here

Indicated is a circular cashel on a Galway rise, its drystone wall still standing though modern gaps and bulldozed earth have wounded it. The untouched ring may have sheltered people from rain or rage, while the damaged parts reveal how easily human care forgets what it does not understand.

On a gentle rise in undulating grassland. Well-preserved circular cashel (D 50m) defined by a drystone wall. Numerous gaps in the wall appear modern. Field clearance obscures the outer wall-face at SW. The interior has been partly bulldozed. An enclosure (GA056-038----) lies c. 80m to SW.
