What is recorded here

Indicated was a circular stone enclosure about thirty metres wide on a small Galway hillock, now erased from sight though still named in maps. It may have been a farming stronghold, a seasonal camp, or a boundary marker for a lost neighbourhood. The scrubland keeps the shape only in memory, inviting imagination to fill the gap left by time.
