Gallán is a 2.6m rectangular standing stone in pasture above the Sullane River valley, County Cork, Ireland, its base ringed with exposed packing stones and aligned northeast to southwest. It has watched river fog, sheep traffic and human doubt for centuries, steady enough to be measured but old enough to resist explanation.

In pasture, on N side of Sullane River valley. Stone (H 2.6m; 1.6m x 0.75m) is rectangular in plan, with packing stones exposed at base; long axis NE-SW.
