What is recorded here
This site consists of a small irregularly-shaped area defined partly by a stony bank, possibly a collapsed wall, and partly by a low scarp, the interior being raised c. 0.15m above the external ground level. The feature measures 12.2m N-S x 14m E-W externally and the stony bank is 1 to 1.5m wide and up to .5m high. In the W part of the interior is a slight hollow measuring 4.2m in diameter, and in the E part are the very ruined foundations of a rectangular or square hut KE036-036001- measuring 2.5m N-S internally. This site may have consisted of a small enclosure and hut but its function and context are not known. It is located on the E slopes of Gleann na nGealt, near the entrance to the valley.
