Hut site in Cloontreem

In a rough pasture spur, on a rocky terrace on the lower SE-facing slopes of Eagle Hill. The remains of a rectangular hut site (3.4m NW-SE; 2m NE-SW) defined by a partially collapsed drystone wall (T 0.5m; max. H 0.7m), the base stones of which protrude above the surface of the bog. The SE and SW sides are largely collapsed. Stone slabs that are set at right angles to the line of the wall and leaning against each other are visible on the NE and NW sides of the hut site.
