What is recorded here
The interior of the caher is filled with a scatter of loose stone, heavily concentrated in a rectangular area at E. This measures 3.7m x 3.5m, and may represent the foundations of a rectangular hut (KE106-051001-).
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 584. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
