Indicated is a ruined stone ringfort on a flat Kerry terrace, its overgrown wall still facing Darrynane Harbour. The eastern gate keeps two tall slabs like quiet guards, while the southern half holds loose stones and small mounds that may have marked rooms, heaps or forgotten work. People likely lived, argued, stored things or left the place behind before the wall collapsed into grass.

Located on a flat terrace, overlooking Darrynane Harbour to S, this subcircular site is enclosed by a much denuded and overgrown wall, a large section of which is levelled at N. Elsewhere the 1.5m wide wall is faced internally with upright slabs and externally with horizontally coursed block-like slabs. The enclosed area measures 16.4m N-S x 17m E-W. A .85m wide entrance is located at E and is flanked on both sides by two slabs which average .75m high and .9m wide. A cluster of loose slabs and some low mounds of stone occur in the S half of the site. The N half appears to have been cleared. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
