On a low hillock surrounded by extensive blanket bog. A subcircular hut (E-W 4.4m, N-S 3.6m) defined by a grassed-over stone wall. Traces of internal division are visible at S; there is an entrance at E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'.
