Lisderg/Lios Dearg (red ringfort; KE014-023----). Situated SE of St Mary's Church (RC) with good views in all directions, this site consists of a circular area enclosed by a 5.5m-wide earthen bank that rises to 1.6m externally and .9m above the interior. The interior is at much the same level as the surrounding land and contains four house-sites (KE014-023001-, KE014-023002-, KE014-023003-, KE014-023004-) constructed of stone. In the W sector is a sub-semi-circular enclosure that curves into the bank. About 2.6m N of this is a small rectangular enclosure 4.2m x 3.5m externally and walls .6m thick. To the SE of the sites, the largest house-site is sub-rectangular, 8m x 7.4m externally, with walls about 1m thick. Other loose stones are to be noted in the interior.
