In rolling agricultural landscape on a gentle N-facing slope. Excavated in 2007 in advance of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road improvement scheme (Licence no. E3456, Structure 1). A circular house (6.8m x 9.5m) defined by 10 shallow post-holes spaced at 2m intervals with a second internal ring of 5 post-holes. A porch feature (4m x 2.5m) protruding at SE comprised 11 posts of varying dimensions. An oval-shaped hearth was located off-centre with two pits adjacent, one on either side. Two distinct clusters of stake-holes located on both sides of the hearth represent a spit. Two other houses of similar construction (KK023-143---- and KK023-144----) were excavated c. 20m and c. 50m to the S and SW. (Devine and Zimny 2009; Devine 2010, 239-40, no. 901)
