The Civil survey (1654-6) mentions a stone House at Drumconragh (Simington 1945, 180). This was probably on the site of where St. Joseph's Asylum for the Blind stands.The exact loctaion of this monument is unknown. Compiled by : Geraldine Stout Upload date: 29 September 2011
