Tobernagarran was a holy well on a north-facing slope in County Meath, marked in gothic script on maps from 1836 to 1908 before disappearing beneath a removed field bank. It likely served nearby people for cleansing or prayer, yet no written account survives to confirm the exact rites or the person who tended it. The loss of the well and its bank suggests ordinary farming or development erased a sacred marker, leaving only map ink and aerial shadows behind.

Located towards the bottom of a N-facing slope with a small E-W stream c. 70m to the N. A well annotated as ‘Tobernagarran’ in gothic script is depicted on the 1836 and 1908 editions of the OS 6-inch map. Nothing else is known about it, but from aerial imagery it, and from the removal of the field bank where it was located, it would appear to have been removed before 1995 (OSAP).
