What is recorded here

Half of the mill is gone, lost to the west and north, leaving a broken drum on the Galway knoll. The surviving south face still holds its doorway and two rows of rectangular windows, pointing toward the road and the people who once fed it grain. What remains is enough to show the shape of the room inside, the height of the floors and the direction the mill took before the storm or years took the other half.

On a knoll is gently undulating grassland. A circular three-storey windmill (D c. 3.7m, H 7.9m), in dangerous structural condition, with a slight base-batter. It has totally collapsed from W to N. The doorway is at S with rectangular windows above it on 1st and 2nd floors. Traces of windows also survive on the upper floors at NE.
