Fairy fort in Greethill, County Galway: a circular cashel, 41m across, on a hillock in undulating pastureland. A drystone wall still runs from north through east to south, but overgrowth hides much of it and a field wall cuts across at north and south; west of that line no visible trace of the enclosing wall remains. The name suggests people once imagined more than livestock or labour there, perhaps a place set apart, remembered as belonging to fairies because its purpose had faded.

On a hillock in undulating pastureland. This poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. 41m) is defined by a drystone wall from N through E to S; it is obscured by overgrowth. A field wall cuts across the monument at N and S, and to the W of this no visible surface trace of the enclosing element survives.
