What is recorded here

On a gentle S-facing slope in pastureland. Poorly preserved almost circular cashel (32m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by a drystone wall best preserved at W; elsewhere it survives as a grassed-over stony bank. A gap (Wth 1m) at SW appears to be modern. A hay-shed has been constructed in the NW quadrant of the interior. (Cody 1989, 259-60, no. 84) Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 5 January 2018
