What is recorded here

Caherhenry is a faded fairy fort in County Galway, its drystone wall reduced to a grassed bank except where the west face still stands. The interior holds a hay-shed rather than mystery, suggesting human hands still claim the space the legends forgot. What remains is a border between worlds, thin enough for either to cross into the other.

On a gentle S-facing slope in pastureland. Poorly preserved almost circular cashel (32m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by a drystone wall best preserved at W; elsewhere it survives as a grassed-over stony bank. A gap (Wth 1m) at SW appears to be modern. A hay-shed has been constructed in the NW quadrant of the interior.
