17th century grave slab located in first N transept chapel to N of chancel of Holycross abbey. Poorly preserved recumbent slab lying flat on surface of chapel at base of S wall of chapel. Unable to get access to slab to describe or take measurements. Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien. Date of upload: 22 September 2008
17th century Christian grave slab; reflects post-Reformation burial practices in a monastic context. Significance lies in its association with Holycross Abbey, a major Cistercian foundation.
