What is recorded here

Gragara holds two sets of earthworks linked by a trackway in Castle Meadows, eighty metres apart on the edge of the Nore valley. One belongs to a castle, the other remains unnamed, yet the path between them suggests they shared one purpose. The land still gives up views in every direction except north, as if guiding memory away from what is already known.

On a slight S-facing slope at the edge of the Nore river valley, in rolling grassland. There are good views in all directions, except upslope to N. In a field called 'Castle Meadows'. These earthworks (KK010-116001-) were identified (ASI fieldwork 4 August 1987) 80m to the SE of others earthworks associated with a castle (KK010-116----). They appear to be connected by a trackway.
