Corner-sited attached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1930, having gable-fronted canted outer bays and flat-roofed porch to central bay. Now vacant. Hipped artificial slate roof and pitched roof to canted bays with rendered chimneystack and cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted smooth rendered walls, lined to porch, having decorative timber battening to gable front tympanums and moulded render dentilated stringcourse to canted bays and porch with rendered sill course to ground floor. Square-headed openings with uPVC windows to first floor and one-over-one timber sliding sash windows to ground floor. Camber-headed door opening to porch with carved timber panelled door and oval window, render keystone and leaded stained glass overlight. Rendered boundary wall with cast-iron railings and pedestrian gate.

An attractive and eclectic early twentieth century house with an assortment of features suggesting an Arts and Crafts influence. The variety of the composition is further emphasised by the siting of a neighbouring house of comparative design to the south. Noteworthy features include the render detailing to the canted bays and porch, as well as the remaining timber sliding sash windows. Typical of early twentieth-century suburban housing on the edges of the bigger towns, this example greatly enlivens the streetscape at the northern end of Skibbereen.
