Group of concrete lamp standards, erected c.1960, with over-hanging heads and banded bases.
Lamp standard of this design are found throughout the school complex. They are sleek and functional in design but employ much detail. Elements such as the tapering octagonal shafts and crane-like heads make them aesthetically appealing, and are representative of the design principles of their time.
