Earthwork in Glenballythomas is an earthwork in Glenballythomas, County Roscommon, Ireland. It sits on the south-facing slope of Rathcroghan plateau, where a mound once held the entrance to an underground passage. A ring-barrow stands one hundred and twenty metres to the northwest, while a lane passes just north of the hidden entrance. Geophysical survey showed a circular area but no enclosing bank or internal structures.

On the S-facing slope of Rathcroghan plateau. Described as a mound (diam. c. 20m) with the entrance to Man-made underground passage (RO022-057029-) in the interior (Ferguson 1872, 117). It is not visible at ground level, and a NW-SE lane lies just N of the Man-made underground passage entrance. Ring-barrow (RO022-057025-) is c. 120m to the NW. (Knox 1914, 35; Herity 1983, 132, 1987, 138; Waddell 1983, 33) Geophysical survey recorded anomalies around the entrance to the Man-made underground passage suggesting a circular area (diam. c. 17m), but no evidence of an enclosing bank or fosse, or of any internal structures was recorded.
