Gateway, extant 1839, on a symmetrical plan comprising pair of drag edged rusticated limestone ashlar piers on moulded cushion courses on plinths having ogee-detailed cornices below lichen-spotted shallow pyramidal capping. Road fronted at entrance to grounds of Kilfane Rectory
A gateway forming part of a self-contained group alongside an adjacent gate lodge (see 12402837) with the resulting ensemble making a pleasing visual statement in a rural street scene at the entrance on to the grounds of the Kilfane Rectory estate.
