Internal diam. 17.8m N-S, 15m E-W A univallate rath located on a steep E facing slope at the head of Gleann na nGealt. A short stretch of the enclosing bank and fosse has been entirely removed where a modern gully encroaches on the site at S. They have also been levelled along the downslope E side, but here the outline of the enclosure is preserved as a scarp which falls 1.75m to the exterior. The earthen bank enclosing the remainder of the site reaches a maximum height of 2.75m internally and .65m externally; it is c. 3.8m wide at base. The external fosse averages 2m in width and is approximately 1m deep though there is no clear distinction between its outer edge and the rising hillslope beyond.
