Lisaniska South is a fairy fort and earthen ringfort in County Galway where children were once interred inside a Danish fort. The land held limekilns, bog, and small farms until Thomas Callagy and his four children lived in a thatched house with a stable, cow house, piggery, fowl house, and barn. The fort still stands beside fields where people farmed, bred animals, and raised children under a sky old enough to remember every name.

In level grassland. Subcircular rath (N-S 49m, E-W 43m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The outer bank survives only at SE.
