Situated on a slight N-facing slope in a low-lying landscape. This was described in 1970 (SMR file) as an oval grass-covered mound of broken and burnt stone with an indentation in the middle of the WNW side. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
