What is recorded here

This fulacht fiadh was located in marshy land less than 200m SW of the Laune river. In the late 1970s the land was deep-ploughed prior to afforestation, and no visible trace of the site survives. The landowner described it as a horseshoe-shaped mound and stated that is was located close to a spring. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
