Situated in gently undulating wet upland pasture, on general SW facing slope, immediately to W of a NNE-SSW flowing stream. Another fulacht fiadh (SL008-193001-) within the same townland is located 14m to the WNW. Roughly D-shaped flat-topped sod covered mound (dims. L top NNE-WSW 14m; Wth top WNW-ESE 8m; Ht 0.6m) of heat shattered stone and charcoal rich soil. A NNE-WSW orientated farm track lies across the E side of the mound.
