Forekill holds a thirty-one-metre earthen ring on a broad ridge, exposing its gravel bank and shallow fosse to winds from every direction. People built the seam, entered through the south-east gap, and watched the land turn below. Trees now break the edge, but the circle still commands the sky.

On a broad flat-topped ridge in grassland. There are good views in all directions. A circular area (int. diam. 31m) enclosed by flat-topped gravel-rich earthen bank (Wth at top 1.5m; overall Wth 2m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1m) and external fosse (Wth 3m; D 0.2m). There is an entrance (Wth 1.5m) at the SE. Trees and scrub growing on the monument. There is a slight field boundary running around the perimeter.
