On the S side of Fethard, outside the wall town (TS070-040----), on the N bank of the Clashawley River, c. 60m SSE of a possible 17th-century house (TS070-040016-) on Burke St. A pointed limestone doorway (Wth 0.78m), the jambs of which are chamfered externally, but not the head (O’Keeffe 1995, 101). Currently ex situ opening into a short passage (Wth 0.85m) (ibid.).
