Hut site in Fehanagh

In rough pasture, on the NW-facing slope of Knockowen Mountain. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.3m) defined by a stone wall (T 0.65m; int. H 0.1-0.2m, ext. H 0.2-0.3m) N-NW and by a grass-covered bank (Wth 0.65m; H 0.2m) NW-N. The lower course of the wall protrudes above the blanket bog. In general the interior is 0.2m higher than external ground level. There is an upright slab (H 0.3m) in the N wall. There is a possible entrance at NW where the bank is low.
