Fairy fort in Ulacha, County Kerry: a small irregular cashel between Lateevemore and Reenconnell, its drystone wall barely a metre high in places. A wide stone plinth at the southeast may be all that remains of the original ring, while the thinner wall above it came later. The blocked gap and hidden northwest passage suggest a place made for keeping out as much as keeping in.

Internal diam. 13.1m N-S, 16.1m E-W A small, irregularly-shaped cashel, now in poor condition, situated on elevated ground between the ridges of Lateevemore and Reenconnell. The site is enclosed by an irregular drystone-built wall measuring from .6 to 1.3m in height and from .8 to 1.6m in thickness and, for the most part, poorly constructed. A wide plinth occurs at the base of the outer-face of the wall in the SE sector. This is up to 1.5m high and 2.73m wide and is revetted with large stones, 1m high, overlain by drystone walling. It is possible that this is the remains of the original cashel wall and that the present wall is a later feature. A mound of stone collapse, below the outer face of the wall along the W and N sectors, may be a continuation of this plinth feature. A 4m wide blocked gap at SE formerly provided access to a small, triangular field which adjoins the site at SE. A possible Man-made underground passage, which appears to run under the wall at NW, is now inaccessible. A partly drystone-lined hollow, at the base of the inner face of the wall, marks its location.
