Portlecka holds a stone ringfort where human hands built a defensible circle before fairy tales claimed the empty stones. The cashel shape suggests people valued the place enough to cut, carry and stack rock against rain and invasion. Whether it served a farm, a fortress or a forgotten lord, the stones still draw a line around the land and refuse to be forgotten.
